We are a community of conscience, open to all people of goodwill.  We come from all political, social and religious backgrounds.  We are inclusive, alternative, tolerant, multigenerational, realistic, non-judgmental and non-dogmatic. We celebrate music, creativity, volunteerism, spiritual acceptance, science and social justice.

We are one of the youngest UUs in the Central Valley and are growing.

Why We Are Here:

Isolated players are not an orchestra, no matter how excellent they are as soloists.  We generate a community greater than the sum of its parts: trustworthy friends, understanding listeners and thoughtful teammates.  We share meanings developed in our individual lives and we stand together in times of sorrow, joy and challenge.  We encourage each other to share their spiritual journey or search.  UUs have no dogma, and no creed.  Instead we have 7 Principles http://www.uua.org/beliefs/principles/index.shtml  that for centuries has formed our foundation of beliefs on how we as individuals fit into this world.

Where & When We Meet:

We meet every Sunday afternoon, 4:00 at 305 W. 26th St. Merced, CA 95340.

We are in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley along Highway 99, between Modesto and Fresno. Merced is the home of the newest University of California Campus, UC Merced.
